I did not have time to make breakfast and we had to attend a conference from 10am-1pm. I decided to make a smoothie to give me enough energy so we could last until our lunch break. All I can say is make sure you have your lunch planned out because you will be very hungry for lunch. Your body may even crave something healthy like lean meat and a nice salad.
Ingredients (Serves 2-3):
- Freshly squeezed juice from 1 large minneola tangelo (yields 3/4 cup of juice)
- 1 cup of sweetened coconut milk
- 2 scoops of our vanilla moringa enhanced protein powder (optional)**
- 2 cups of packaged frozen Mixed Berry Medley (frozen blueberries, strawberries, black berries, and raspberries)
- 2 cups of frozen pineapple chunks or tidbits
- 2 cups of fresh kale, rinsed
- 1 cup of ice cubes
- 2 tbsp. of raw coconut sugar
Directions:
- Add orange juice and coconut milk to the blend
- Turn on the blender
- Slowly add our vanilla moringa enhanced protein powder
- Slowly add the frozen fruit
- Stir the kale into the smoothie 1 cup at a time, then blend
- While the blender is one, slowly add the ice cubes
